Do my customers need to download an app?

Accepted Answer

No. Customers join the queue via QR code or a link on their phone. They receive notifications by SMS or WhatsApp directly, no app needed.

Can I use WaitQ for free?

Yes. We offer a 7-day free trial with access to all features. After the trial, choose the plan that best fits your business to continue using WaitQ.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. You will only need to enter your credit card details at the end of the trial, when you choose the plan that is a better fit to your business.

Is there a setup or admin fee?

Starter is built for small businesses looking to optimize their operation. Grow gives busier businesses more capacity and fewer headaches. Business is for multi-location operators looking to run their business efficiently.

What counts as an SMS or WhatsApp notification?

Accepted Answer

1 notification credit = 1 SMS or WhatsApp message sent. If a customer receives both a confirmation message and a call notification, that uses 2 credits.

Which countries does SMS and WhatsApp work in?

Accepted Answer

WaitQ supports SMS and WhatsApp notifications in most of Europe, North America, and selected countries in Asia and Latin America. If you're unsure whether your country is supported, contact us before subscribing.

What happens if I run out of SMS or WhatsApp notifications?

You can purchase additional notifications at any time under the "Subscription" page in your account. These never expire and roll over to the next month. Notification costs vary by country. 
Please contact us if you wish to know the exact rate for your location or if you'd like a custom, hands-off solution.

Do unused notifications roll over?

Yes. Any additional SMS/WhatsApp credits you purchase roll over monthly and are only used after your plan's monthly allowance is exhausted.

Do we need to purchase hardware?

Accepted Answer

No. WaitQ works on any device with a web browser - tablets, phones, or computers you already own. No special hardware, pagers, or equipment needed.

Can I use WaitQ across multiple locations?

Yes. Starter supports 1 location, Grow includes 2 locations, and Business includes 5 locations. Each location has its own independent queue.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No contracts. You can cancel anytime. We do provide, however, a discounted rate if you purchase WaitQ annually.

What if I need a digital queue for just one day?

WaitQ plans are monthly or annual, but we are able to offer custom solutions for one-time needs. Please contact us to discuss your options.
