1. Open Notifications
Edit the queue or booking list and select Notifications. Review which confirmation, call, reminder, change, and cancellation messages apply to that workflow.
2. Choose the channels
Under Notification channels, switch on the channels customers may choose. Email, SMS, and WhatsApp each have their own switch. On queues, Push notifications are also always offered; booking lists use only email, SMS, and WhatsApp. SMS and WhatsApp require a phone field and are not available in every country; email requires an email field.
Tick Default channel on the channel that should be preselected. A customer can still choose another available channel on the join or booking form. On queues, push asks for browser permission on the customer's device; if it is not allowed, the customer is asked to keep or choose another channel.
3. Save and test
Save the list and create a test entry using the exact device and destination you want to verify. For a queue, accept the browser notification permission when testing push, then trigger the same call, confirmation, reminder, or change your team will use during service.
4. Check delivery and credits
Open the entry's activity and confirm the message was sent through the expected channel with the correct brand and link. One successfully sent SMS or WhatsApp message uses one notification credit; push (queues only) and email do not use credits. When credits run out, call notifications fall back to email if the customer gave an email address.
If delivery is unavailable, check the customer's saved destination, browser permission, list channel setting, country support, and the credit balance on Billing. A channel being selected is not proof that a message was delivered.
