The kiosk opens a location-specific page on a shared device. The customer selects an available queue and completes the same configured join form used by Public check-in. No app download or customer account is required.
After the entry is submitted, WaitQ shows a confirmation and returns the kiosk to its starting state for the next customer. Staff see the new entry in the same queue as Public check-in entries and parties added with Add to queue.
Keep kiosk forms short and avoid optional fields that customers may not want to enter in public. Position the screen so the current customer has reasonable privacy.
If a queue does not appear, edit it and confirm that Check-in is on under Customization, the queue is within its working hours, and its current entry rules allow customers to join. Public check-in and kiosk mode share the queue selection, so disabling Check-in removes it from both.
