After a booking is created, its confirmation gives the customer a link to a page with the booking details and the actions available for it.
The customer can review the date, time, service, party details, and location information. While the booking is confirmed, they can cancel it. They can choose Reschedule to pick another date and time while the reservation list still accepts public bookings; a cancelled booking can also be rescheduled this way. Customers cannot change the party size or service themselves.
When a customer changes a booking, WaitQ applies the list's current availability rules. A time that was previously available may no longer be offered.
Staff see customer changes on the reservation list and in the booking's activity. Keep confirmations and reminders enabled when you want customers to return to the correct management link instead of contacting the location for routine changes.
