Kiosk mode lets customers join a queue on a shared tablet or touch screen at your location. It uses the same queue selection as Public check-in, but presents it as a shared-device flow that returns to the start after every customer.
1. Turn on Check-in for the queues
Open the Location overview and select Check-in → Edit check-in settings. Choose the queues customers may join and save. You can also edit a queue and turn on Check-in under Customization.
Public check-in and kiosk mode share this queue selection. There is no second kiosk-only list switch or location master switch.
2. Review the kiosk preview
Edit a saved queue, open Check-in, then choose the Kiosk tab. Review the location and queue names, the link, and the preview. Kiosk mode is available after the queue has been created.
3. Prepare the join forms
Review each queue's form fields, party-size limits, services, working hours, and entry rules. Keep the form short and avoid optional details that customers may not want to enter on a public screen.
4. Open it on the shared device
From the Location overview, select Check-in → Open kiosk mode. On the tablet, use full-screen or guided-access controls where available, prevent the device from sleeping, keep it charged, and place it where staff can assist.
5. Test privacy and reset behaviour
Submit a test entry to every kiosk queue. Confirm that each entry reaches the correct queue and that the kiosk returns to its starting screen without leaving the previous customer's details visible.
