How to mark a customer as arrived, seated, no-show, or cancelled

Choose the status that accurately records what happened to each queue entry.

Open the queue entry and choose the action that matches what happened:

  • Arrived means the customer responded and is present, but service has not necessarily started.
  • Seated or the equivalent service action starts the active visit and may assign capacity or a table.
  • No-show means the customer did not return after being called.
  • Cancelled means the entry was withdrawn by the customer or staff.

Use final statuses consistently. They remove the party from the active waiting flow and affect history and analytics.

If you select the wrong status, open the visit details and check which correction actions are available. Add a note when the reason matters to another team member.
