Why a customer cannot join a queue

Diagnose closed lists, working hours, form errors, location rules, and unavailable capacity.

Check these conditions in order:

  1. The queue is within working hours. Compare its schedule with the location's current time zone.
  2. The correct schedule is selected. In Edit queue → Working hours, check whether it follows the location hours or uses a custom schedule.
  3. Check-in is enabled for the queue. Edit the queue and confirm the Check-in switch is on under Customization. The same selection controls whether a queue appears in Public check-in and kiosk mode.
  4. The form is valid. Complete every required field and correct invalid phone or email details.
  5. Join rules are satisfied. Check any distance, service, party-size, or capacity restrictions configured for the list.
  6. The customer opened the current location link. Use the link or QR code in the Check-in menu on the Location overview and replace outdated printed codes or saved links.

Test in a private browser window. If staff can add a walk-in but the public form still fails, record the exact message, time, list, and device before contacting support.
