How to configure Public check-in

Choose which lists customers can open from the location page, then preview and test the QR code.

Public check-in lets customers scan a QR code, open your location on their phone, and choose an available queue or reservation list. The lists control whether they appear; there is no separate location enable switch.

1. Choose the lists

Open the Location overview, select Check-in → Edit check-in settings, and choose the lists customers should see. You can also edit an individual queue or reservation list and turn on Check-in under Customization.

For queues, the same Check-in selection is used by Public check-in and the location kiosk. Turning it off removes the queue from both customer entry points without deleting its existing entries or history.

2. Configure and preview each list

Open the list and review its Form fields, Working hours, services, entry rules, and notifications. In Check-in, use the Public check-in tab to review the link and preview. The preview uses the location accent colour when one is set, otherwise the business colour.

3. Open or print the code

From the Location overview, open Check-in and choose Open check-in page or Show QR code. You can also download or print the code from a list's Check-in settings. Print it at a size that scans easily and place it where customers decide to join.

4. Test the complete flow

Scan the printed code with a phone, choose each intended list, and submit a test entry or booking. Confirm it appears on the correct date or queue. If proximity is required, test at the location and make sure the browser is allowed to use the phone's location.
