Introducing integrations on WaitQ: Zapier, Calendar and the API

Your queue and bookings, wherever you work

A waitlist or a booking rarely lives on its own. Your team checks a shared calendar, your marketing lives in a newsletter tool, and your reports end up in a spreadsheet. Until now, getting WaitQ data into those places meant copying it by hand.

From today, WaitQ connects to the tools you already use. Everything is set up from the new Integrations page in your dashboard, in a couple of minutes, without a developer for most of it.

Zapier: connect WaitQ to thousands of apps

Zapier links WaitQ to thousands of apps. Pick something that happens in WaitQ, choose what should happen next, and it runs on its own.

  • Send data out: new guests on a waitlist, status changes, new bookings, guest list check-ins and new customers.
  • Bring data in: add guests to a waitlist or a guest list, or create a booking, when something happens in your other tools.

A few ideas to start with:

  • Add every new booking to a Google Sheet for your weekly report.
  • Post a Slack message when a guest is checked in.
  • Add new customers to your Mailchimp or HubSpot audience.
  • Create a booking in WaitQ when someone fills in a form on your website.

Create an API key in WaitQ and connect your account in Zapier in a few clicks.

Calendar: your bookings next to your own events

Turn on a calendar link for a location and its bookings appear in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, on your phone and your computer. New bookings, changes and cancellations follow automatically, and pending bookings and no-shows stand out in the title.

The calendar shows names, party sizes and services, never phone numbers, emails or notes, so it's easy to share with your team.

It also works the other way around. Connect your own calendar to a location, and WaitQ stops new bookings while you're busy. Private events, holidays or appointments you keep somewhere else no longer turn into double bookings. WaitQ checks the calendar every 10 minutes and only reads when you're busy, never what the event is.

API and webhooks: build exactly what you need

If you have a developer or your own systems, the WaitQ API gives them direct access to your account. They can read your locations and lists, check open booking times, add guests to a waitlist, create bookings and orders, look up customers, and get a webhook the moment something changes.

That opens up things like a booking form built into your own website, a sign-up on your app that adds guests to the queue, or a sync with your POS or CRM.

Each key is created for one integration and can be revoked at any time. The full reference, with every endpoint and webhook, is in the API documentation.

Available on the Business plan

Integrations are included in the Business plan and with an Access Pass for events. Business admins find them under Integrations in the dashboard settings. See what each plan includes on the pricing page.

More integrations are on the way. If there's a tool you'd like WaitQ to connect to, tell us.
